In a bounty tournament, part of the buy-in is assigned as a bounty on each player’s head. Every time you eliminate a player, you win their bounty.
For example, with a buy-in of 60 + 40 + 10 (fee):
€60 goes to the prize pool, €40 is the bounty on each player, and €10 is the fee.The €40 bounty is given in cash chips and must remain on the table together with your stack. Each time you eliminate a player, you earn €40. Once you win a bounty, that amount is yours and cannot be lost anymore.
